Within this framework, an index has been set up by the government comprising 5 indicators giving a score out of 100. It must be published annually and monitored over 3 years by companies. It gives rise to action plans to achieve the target of 75 points out of 100. The reference period chosen by the Lumibird UES (Unité Economique et Sociale, perimeter France) for this monitoring is the calendar year: from January 1 to December 31 of the year preceding publication.
After an initial release in 2019 of the Gender Equity Index with a result (69/100) below the expected level, actions were taken to improve our index and we had reached 75/100 by 2020, which represented the standard to be met. After this initial step, we maintained our efforts to strengthen the gender balance in the UES and our 2022 result reached 86/100, then 94/100 in 2023.
Our 2024 action plan
In 2023, our efforts to strengthen the gender balance in the UES enabled us to achieve a result of 94/100. To continue our progress, we will be stepping up our efforts in the following areas:
– Maintaining the guarantee of equal access and remuneration for women and men in existing jobs from the moment they are hired
– Addressing residual pay gaps (1 pt out of 40) between women and men
– Promoting women to the highest-paid positions in the organization.
