The acquisition of SAAB’s defense laser rangefinder business in 2022 allows LUMIBIRD to leverage over 60 years’ experience in the manufacture of laser rangefinders for military applications. More than 5000 long-range laser rangefinders for these applications have been delivered to over 30 countries.

Our multi-domain laser rangefinders are designed and approved for use in naval, land and airborne applications requiring a low-hazard functionality in combination with high performance.
The compact and lightweight design is ideally suited for integration with advanced fire control systems and other demanding telemetric applications.
Our laser rangefinders are based on solid-state laser technology operating at the eyesafe wavelength 1.5 µm. The high repetition rate makes it possible to improve system tracking accuracy of fast-moving and manoeuvring targets.

The Odipro laser rangefinder is designed for armoured vehicle applications.
It has excellent performance, suitable against both ground and aircraft threats.
The Odipro includes an active receiver protection making it indestructible. Other advantages are : short minimum range, high availability, low life cycle cost, no need for training filter and more realistic training.
HILDUR
Compact and capable laser rangefinder
Hildur is a compact and capable laser rangefinder.
It is especially designed to fill the capability gap between long-range laser rangefinders such as the Vidar family and medium range fiber and diode laser rangefinders.
